The following downloadable resources will support educators to understand the revisions to the Mathematics curriculum.
The ‘Introducing Mathematics Version 2.0’ documents outline the key revisions made to the curriculum.
The ‘Mathematics – comparison of curriculums’ documents outline the specific differences between the achievement standards and content descriptions of Version 1.0 and Version 2.0 of the curriculum. They should be read in conjunction with the ‘Introducing Mathematics Version 2.0’ documents.
Transition advice tables align the current Mathematics Levels A to D (Towards Foundation) with Mathematics Version 2.0 Foundation to Level 2 to support teachers during the curriculum transition period. Schools should continue to use the current Levels A to D (Towards Foundation) curriculum on the Victorian Curriculum F–10 Version 1.0 website until the revised Foundation Levels A to D curriculum is implemented.
